Myrskyluodon kalastaja

A tale handling the topics of the time: prohibition and smuggling. A young fisherman offers to help some townsmen, who are pretending to be hunters, but turn out to be smugglers. Axel Slangus gives a brilliant performance, and Yrjö Somersalmi makes a fine acting debut. Myrskyluodon kalastaja was also the debut film of Yrjö Tuominen. The imagery is one of the most beautiful in Finnish silent film era.
